Containers & Kubernetes with Eric Brewer

22nd April 2015, 17:30-20:30, Q42 , Amsterdam

GDG Netherlands, Q42 and Google Amsterdam proudly present a close encounter with Google VP Infrastructure Eric Brewer.

Abstract

Containers & Kubernetes: Eric Brewer's story

Eric Brewer (Google VP Infrastructure, gave keynote at last year DockerCon) is in town for TNW. He can join us to share a technical talk on Kubernetes, our Container strategy on Google Cloud Platform, and answer tough questions over beer.

We'll also hear from Q42 & Philips about their experience building the latest Philips HUE API on Node.js and Redis, and how they use Docker containers to break out of the usual AppEngine sandbox.

Of course we reserve some time for lightning talks from the community, and did I mention the beer?
